Thanks to its compact design, the boiler is easy to install and simply needs to be connected to the mains. This makes it suitable for all-electric motorhomes and caravans. The electric boiler has a capacity of 8.5 litres and heats the water to up to 70 °C. The clear control panel makes it easy to view and adjust the setpoint and actual temperatures. Furthermore, the electric boiler features CI-BUS and CAN 2.0B, allowing it to be easily integrated into a bus system and controlled via a central control unit.

SMART USE OF VARIOUS ENERGY SOURCES FOR HOT WATER HEATING
The E-Boiler Hybrid significantly reduces gas consumption in motorhomes and campervans and ensures a steady supply of hot water whilst on the move. This combination of engine waste heat, on-board electricity (supplied by a photovoltaic system or via the alternator whilst driving) and mains power makes the Eberspächer E-Boiler so economical and flexible. The E-Boiler Hybrid also has a capacity of 8.5 litres and reaches water temperatures of 70 °C. The hybrid version is also equipped with a user-friendly control panel. Integration into a bus system is straightforward via CI-BUS and CAN 2.0B.
Maximum self-sufficiency: in combination with a diesel-powered Hydronic (water heater), the water can also be conveniently heated using the vehicle’s fuel. This combination enables maximum self-sufficiency and relaxed winter camping. The Hydronic Arctic version creates a powerful cycle involving the auxiliary heater, engine and boiler, which not only enables a pleasantly warm shower but also preheats the engine on cold days.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THE EBERSPÄCHER E-BOILER
When installing an electric boiler in a campervan or caravan, several factors are crucial: power supply, size, installation location and safety. Many motorhomes and campervans use gas heating. In this case, gas supply must always be taken into account. The Eberspächer electric boiler uses 230 V mains power and 12/24 V on-board power, as well as engine waste heat where applicable. Furthermore, the thick insulation helps to keep the water warm for a long time.

Whilst the E-Boiler supplies hot water, the heating system takes care of warming the living area – independently, on demand and without using any gas. This even makes it possible to create completely gas-free motorhome setups that combine independence and sustainability. For maximum self-sufficiency, we recommend combining it with a Zeliox Neo. Together with solar panels on the roof and a Zeliox on board, hot water is then generated not only in an eco-friendly way, but also free of charge and independently – for carefree travel.
